"An Elephant Stitch"

The truth is, I sew.
I have sewn.
There's no evidence to support such a claim,
but there was a time
(as if there were a point at which no time was)
when I was pretty good.

There was a pillow.
I made it, stuffed and sewed it myself.
It wasn't much for sleeping with,
more of a sofa decoration than anything.
But it did exist.
